Which grade are you applying for?
Each learner is recorded with a 7-digit Unique Identifier (UID), as set out in Circular ED:03/2026. Here is what each grade needs.
Pre-Primary
For learners starting their first year of schooling. Bring the child's Namibian birth certificate.
UID = Birth Certificate No.Grade 1
For learners entering formal primary education. The birth certificate number is captured as the UID.
UID = Birth Certificate No.Grade 8
For learners moving from primary to secondary school. Your current primary school issues the UID.
UID = School Code + 001–999You may apply to more than one school. A learner can apply to as many schools as they wish, using the same UID at each one. The UID is assigned by the learner's current school and stays with them throughout. Schools give first priority to learners residing in the Khomas Region.

Applications are free. Printing a form costs no more than N$10.

Learners residing in the Khomas Region receive first priority.
No screening fees
No admission tests, interviews or selection fees are allowed.
